GESREC aims to build the world's largest official motion archive. All data are linked to its creators so they can both get credits and be part of the ecosystem. Today, digital world is expanding rapidly and the demands of motions are growing in many different areas. GESREC is here to support.
How it Started
GESREC (Gesture + Recognition) started as a project of a married couple (wife being a dancer) with thoughts to revitalize the power of dance creators and contribute to the community. It aims to establish credits for choreographers who often were not clearly mentioned and thus not receiving credits even when the choreography itself gets really popular.
GESREC utilizes advanced technologies mainly AI to extract 3D motions from 2D video clips. This way, motions from legendary moments can be brought to digital world and potentially transformed to entertain those who may not be aware of such moments.
